Roger Superhero is a graphic novel with 52 colorful pages for children between the ages of 5 and 12. It tells the story of a sick child named Roger who overcomes his illness and becomes a superhero. Our main aim is to activate the young reader's sense of selfhealing - therefore: the child is given the feeling that he is not at the mercy of his illness, but can contribute to his own fate.
Furthermore, the book shows a way of identification, gives hope and courage and let the readers feel that they are not alone.
 
Even children who are not ill, who sometimes feel excluded, are bullied or suffer from low self-esteem and need a role model, can find themselves in this book.
